今回の更新が2002年最後となります。先日、30000アクセスも突破しました。今年も１年間、誠に有難うございました。 さて、今回は上甲板の設置と、バルジの製作です。 This updating will become the last 2002. It broke also through 30000 access on the other day. One year, thank you very much. These contents are installation of an upper deck, and manufacture of a bulge.
プラバンに彫られているスリットをなぞるようにして、デザインナイフで少しずつ切りこみ、カットしていきます。 もともとのスリットにキズをつけたりすると、なんにもなりませんから、慎重に作業しています。 As the slit with which the plastic board is engraved is traced, with a design knife, it cuts deeply little by little and cuts. プラバンやメッシュ・エッチングパーツを裏から接着し、この上甲板部分を艦体に接着します。 接着面の処理はいつものように瞬間接着剤とプラパテです。 A plastic board and a mesh etching part are pasted up from the reverse side, and this upper deck portion is pasted up on a hull. Processings of an adhesion side are a quick-drying glue and plastic putty so that it may be usual.
艦体がほぼまとまったところで、いよいよバルジの増設作業です。 「ポリパテを盛って整形」、「プラバンで基礎を組み、曲面部をエポキシパテ盛り」という方法を試してきましたが、今回は一番リスクの少なそうな「パーツの流用」を主軸としてみます。いろいろパーツを物色したところ、1/72Ｆ-15ＤＪイーグル(ハセガワ製)に白羽の矢を立てました。 In the place whose hull settled mostly, it is the extension work of a bulge still more. 下側の隙間にエポキシパテを詰めます。しかし、アウトラインが大波をうっていて、かなり不細工( p_q)。下面の造形が大きな課題になりそうです。前回述べたように、かなり想像力に頼る部分が出てきますから(w_-; 。 An epoxy putty is put in a lower crevice. この流用パーツのみではバルジの前半分しか確保できません。後ろ半分は、同じくイーグルのドロップタンクを流用します。 まずは、一部カットしたものを、このように接着します。 Only the front half of a bulge is securable with this appropriation part. Similarly a rear half diverts the drops tank of an eagle. First of all, what was cut in part is pasted up in this way.
艦体後部は絞り込んでいるので、大きく隙間が出来てしまいました。いろいろ手はつくしたのですが、どうにもこうにもパーツがなじんでくれませんでした。仕方なく、切りこみを入れて、折り曲げるようにして接着しています。 艦体下面のアウトラインなど、まだあまりイメージも固めていないのですが、とりあえず、エポキシパテをごっそり盛りつけてみました。これを土台として、進めてみようと思います。 さて……おそらく、今回が今年最後の更新になると思われます。このペースでいけば、なんとか来年の内には３隻とも竣工できるのでは？と淡い期待を抱いているところですここまでの建艦ペースを考えると、夢のような話ですから…。 少し休みを頂き、新年最初の更新は、1月18日前後を目標としています。今年１年誠に有難うございました。m(_ _)m Since the hull rear is narrowing down, the crevice has been made greatly.
