また、休んでしまいましてすみません。今週は、船体の外装に関して、「これだ」というプランニングも浮かばぬまま、本能にまかせて作業してしまいました。まぁ、いつものことですね。(;￣ー￣A 。アルカディア号のパーツを眺めつつ思案に耽っても、「ひらめき」が何も無いのには参ります……。 I apologize for it having been absent from updating. プラパテを盛り、通常通りの処理を施します。そして、ペーパーがけの後、水洗いしてみました。この船を洗うのは初めてのような気がします。 Plastic putty is piled and the same processing as usually is performed. And it washed in cold water, after using sandpaper. I feel that this is the first time that this ship is washed.

船首近辺もいよいよラストスパートです。今までは、どうしたものかと手を出しあぐねていたのですが、勢いがついてきました。プラ材の角柱を船首に接着しています。柔らか過ぎるので、補強の為に真鍮板で四方を囲ってみます。これでだいぶ「しなり」を封じ込めました……なにか、信長が造らせたという「鉄張安宅軍船」みたいですね(・-・)♪ …A bow is also the last finish still more. 微妙な曲面であり、なおかつ強度を要求される部分は、真鍮板を使用しています。これでだいぶ全体の形状がまとまってきました。 The portion which is using the board of a brassware is a delicate curved surface, and is the part of which intensity is required. The whole form is completion very much now closely.

今週はここまでです。まだ、肝心の後部キャビンに手をつけていませんから、油断大敵なのですが、なんとか形がまとまってきてくれているので、正直ほっとしている気持ちが強いですね。100パーセント満足とはいきませんけれど……。姉妹艦２隻は全く進展なしですので、今回も写真は割愛します。次週は、「デスシャドウ」です。 Finally it is this week.
